DUNMOW AIR CADETS’ 2010 PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION
999 Squadron is pleased to announce the launch of their 2010 Photographic Competition, generously supported by David Lipson Photography and the Dunmow Broadcast.
The competition is open to all and is to run throughout the summer culminating in a public exhibition of all entries on the 25th September 2010 at the Drill Hall, High Street, Great Dunmow, where the judging will take place and prizes awarded.
As the entries are received throughout the summer, they will feature in a special ATC competition album on the Dunmow Broadcast website and some will be published in the weekly paper.
There are excellent prizes for the group winners.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place category winners will have their photographs professionally framed and copies will be published in the Dunmow Broadcast. There is no limit on the number of photographs a person can enter.

HOW TO ENTER
Cost per photograph entered is £2.00 (cheques payable to: “999 (Dunmow) Squadron ATC”)
Hand in or post your photographs and payments to David Lipson Photography at 35 High Street, Great Dunmow, Essex CM6 1AB.
The photographs must not exceed 8 inches by 6 inches or 10 inches by 8 inches including a border.
Each photograph must identify the group and category in which it is entered and include the photographer’s name, age and contact details (for the Junior Group, parent’s or guardian’s contact details must be provided). Cadets must identify their squadron.
All photographs must accurately reflect the subject matter as it appeared in the viewfinder. Nothing should be added to an image and, aside from dust spots, nothing taken away. Also, all photographs must be free of any copyright encumbrance.
By entering the competition, the entrants agree to their photograph(s) and name being published by the Dunmow Broadcast.
All proceeds from the photographic competition will go to the benefit of 999 Squadron cadets, allowing them to continue experiencing a wide range of activities. 999 Squadron is a registered charity.

999 SQUADRON - 2010 PHOTORAPHIC COMPETITION RULES
Rules of 999 (Dunmow) Air Training Corps Squadron’s 2010 Photographic Competition (Competition) have been established by the Squadron’s Civilian Welfare Committee (CWC) and are set out below. By entering the Competition the entrants agree to these rules.
The rules:
(1) The Competition is open to everyone other than active members of the CWC.
(2) Any person can enter an unlimited number of photographs; the charge is per photograph.
(3) £2.00 must be paid for each photograph entered cash or cheques only (cheques payable to: “999 (Dunmow) Squadron ATC”).
(4) All photographs and payments must be handed in at, or posted to David Lipson Photography at 35 High Street, Great Dunmow, Essex CM6 1AB. Photographs and payments must be handed in at the same time.
(5) The photographs must not exceed 8 inches by 6 inches or 10 inches by 8 inches including a border.

(9) The CWC reserves the right to exclude any photograph from the competition.
(10) The CWC reserves the right to use any photograph for the purposes of promotion of the
Competition before and after the event.
(11) All photographs and the photographers’ names may be published by the Dunmow
Broadcast, at the discretion of the management of the Dunmow Broadcast
(12) The Judge’s decision is final and binding on all Competition entrants.
(13) All the proceeds go to 999 (Dunmow) Squadron of the Air Training Corps for the benefit of the Cadets.
(14) Neither the CWC nor the Air Cadets nor David Lipson Photography nor the Dunmow Broadcast, will be liable for any loss or damage (including but not limited to, any loss or damage to photographs entered) or liability of whatsoever nature, arising in connection with Competition.
